Dunns River Falls

Take a scenic drive along the Jamaican coast to popular Dunn’s River Falls Park and climb the 600-feet cascading falls with an experienced guide. Later you’ll enjoy some time at a golden sand beach and then explore the shops in the town of Ocho Rios.

Optional Activities

Dunns River Park offers two climbs; a wet climb and a dry climb. If you are not a fan of getting wet, then the dry climb would be best suited for you. The wet climb entails walking within the falls, and through the water, so a swimsuit or anything that will dry quickly are suitable for the climb. The dry climb involves a walking trail alongside the falls. Both trails are equally as fun, but only the wet climb will take you to the summit.
For those who do not wish to climb, enjoy taking pictures and take in the view from the boardwalk along the falls. After your waterfall experience, stop for lunch at one of Jamaica’s favorite jerk centers. Savor a delicious meal with an ice cold Red Stripe beer or tropical fruit drink. If want to take a dip into the water while doing the dry climb, there are several points along the path where you can easily access the river, if you wish. Have kids no problem they have waterslide and a splash pad as its center.

Tour Details & Highlights

Meet your guide at your hotel and drive along scenic roads to the town of Ocho Rios. Enter the natural park and break off into groups, where experienced guides will conduct a brief safety and introductory session before climbing up the falls. Wander through the tropical flora of the park to the famous Dunn’s River Falls, admiring the beautiful scenery.
