ELSEWHERE by the SEA in Montego Bay is an immaculate new contemporary villa in the upscale gated community of Lagoons, just 20 minutes from the Montego Bay international airport. The square footage is 6,000 and it"s views of the sea, sunset and lagoon are incomparable.
With focus on families, the homeowners have created a very child-friendly vacation home. Pack less knowing that you will have a complimentary Pack n Play, crib with bumpers, high chair, booster seat, pool toys, water shoes, water wings and board games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Cranium, Apple to Apples, cards and puzzles).
The furnished veranda fronts the entire sea side of the house to maximize your views of the sea, pool, beach, while dining, relaxing, enjoying happy hour ... At the west end of the veranda is the large granite wet bar with mini-fridge stocked with drinks, ice maker and 60" Samsung SmartTV ... a favorite gathering place any time of the day!
The verandah overlooks the calm sea that laps gently on your own beach, the wider Caribbean view that stretches to the far horizon, and the attractive landscaped architecture on the opposite shore. Kayak across and see your villa from the sea. Watch the resident pelicans flap, swoop and dive for fish. Pelican du Soleil right before your eyes.
The 15-foot-square salt water pool is 4 feet deep all around with a waterfall edge and wood deck. Not for swimming laps but marvelous for relaxing in the cool salt water with a view all the way to Round Hill in the west and the blue horizon to the north. For laps, walk three minutes to the Community Pool by the tennis courts and fitness center 22 meters long with two shallow entrance areas for toddlers. An added plus for guests staying in The Lagoons!
With all one week bookings, 7 nights, enjoy a complimentary Sunset Cruise or Reef Snorkeling Trip on a 26 ft power catamaran! Additional trips can be arranged with the captain for the local rates / time needed, distance from the villa, etc. Weather permitting there is a Friday night beach party as well!
UPPER LEVEL
MASTER BEDROOM - 208 sq ft
This largest suite has a 40" Samsung SmartTV, kingsize bed, and en-suite air-conditioned bathroom with walk-in shower, his n hers vanities and clever triple-mirror cabinets.
BEDROOM 2 - THE BUNK ROOM 154 sq ft
5 footsteps along the hall from the Master Bedroom, this bedroom has two sets of full length bunk beds with very comfortable mattresses. En-suite bathroom has shower and deep bathtub combination. Doors to balcony, of course, can be kept locked.
BEDROOM 3 - SEA VIEW ROOM 200 sq ft
7 footsteps beyond the Bunk Room on the same hallway. Kingsize bed. En-suite bathroom has walk-in shower. View from bed pillows is breathtaking … a beautifully inspiring place to wake up!
BEDROOM 4 – TWINS or KING ROOM 168 sq ft
Across the hall is the only bedroom without a sea view. Beds are optional kingsize or twins. Bathroom has a tub-shower combination. Best room for teens.
MAIN LEVEL
BEDROOM 5 - 209 sq ft
Accessible bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Kingsize bed, 40" Samsung SmartTV. Seamless entry shower and tile bench. Versatile shower can be overhead or hand-held. All doors allow wheelchair entry. Double doors open to the verandah, bar and sitting area by pool.
Maximum desired occupancy is 8 adults + 4 children or 6 adults + 6 children.
